OverviewDynamic Football02

Train smarter. Play better.

Dynamic Football offers football training in Melbourne designed to help players improve faster than they would through team training alone. Whether a player is new to the game or already playing at a high level, our coaching focuses on the skills that make the biggest difference on match day.

Our coaches have lived the game. Josh Bigos has played for South Melbourne, Bentleigh Greens and Malvern City and coaches at Wesley College and with the Australian Football Group. Che Gorr Burchmore joined South Melbourne at 13 and has made his professional debut. Together, they bring real experience to every session.

Football training Melbourne in depthDynamic Football04

Football training that fits the player

Every player arrives with different strengths, goals and experience. Some want to win more one-on-ones, some want to score more goals, and others simply want to feel more comfortable when the ball comes to them. Our football training in Melbourne starts with those goals and works backwards.

That means no generic drills for the sake of it. Each session has a purpose, and players understand why they are doing what they are doing. When a player knows the purpose, they focus better and improve faster.

Lots of touches, lots of repetition

The fastest way to improve at football is to touch the ball, a lot. Our sessions are designed to keep players active, with plenty of repetitions and very little standing around. Repetition builds the muscle memory that lets skills happen automatically in games.

We also coach the details: body shape when receiving, the position of the standing foot when striking the ball, and when to look over the shoulder. Small details like these separate good players from great ones.

Training the mind as well as the feet

Technique is only half the story. Confidence, discipline and a willingness to keep working when things are hard all shape how far a player goes. We create an environment where players can enjoy the game, take risks and learn from mistakes, because confident players try more and improve more.

From the backyard to the big stage

When more kids play, love the game and stay in it longer, football gets better at every level. That is the idea behind Dynamic Football. We want every player we work with to keep enjoying the game, keep improving and keep playing for life.

For players with big ambitions, Che shares his own experience of the pathway from junior to professional football.
